My nature sculpture is called “Change”. It reflects the seasonal change we are experiencing right now. I went outside and gather many fall leaves and twigs. I then wrapped all the twigs together to form a little nest for the ring of leaves and the ball of twine in the middle. I selected a leaf that I thought best resembles fall, a yellow leaf slowly changing colors, with a blend of red, orange, brown, and green showing the transition this leaf went through during this fall season. I then decided to light this leaf on fire to symbolize the transition from autumn into winter. The leaves are now falling off the trees, leaving them bare for winter.
